絵画「ブッダガヤの腐ったトマト」の作品の中に出てきたトマトの拡大版です。そのトマトは腐っていても神々しく、その理由は乳児を抱く母から頂いた物だからです。私は食べる事はできませんでしたが、代わりに感謝の気持ちを渡しました。

母はそれが腐っている事を知っていました。むしろ腐っているのが普通の様でした。
だから決してその瞳は人を騙すような物でなく、もてなしの眼差しだったのです。

This is an enlarged version of the tomato that appeared in the painting "Rotten Tomatoes of Bodhgaya". Even though the tomato was rotten, it was divine because it was given to me by a mother holding an infant. I couldn't eat it, but instead I gave money to mother as a token of my gratitude.

Mother knew it was rotten. rather　always rotten. Therefore, those eyes were not deceiving, but rather hospitable.
